Prioritising Mental Health at EuthaSafe: Supporting Our Team

At EuthaSafe, mental health is part of our everyday conversation. While our core mission is to create safer solutions for transporting and storing veterinary drugs, we recognise that our people - the team making this work possible - are just as important. The veterinary industry carries unique emotional challenges, and supporting the wellbeing of those who work in and alongside it, is a responsibility we take seriously.

Recently, we worked with Promote Mental Health to host a workshop focused on wellbeing, resilience, and open communication. The session provided our team with tools and knowledge in managing stress, self-care, and create a environment where difficult topics can be discussed openly and safely.

Some of the highlights included:

  • Stress management techniques: Simple personalised strategies to reduce tension and maintain focus during challenging days.

  • Open communication guidance: Tips for speaking about mental health with colleagues, clients, and peers in a confident, supportive way.

  • Creating a supportive culture: Encouraging empathy, understanding, and connection across all levels of our organisation.

This workshop was more than just a single event, it’s part of EuthaSafe’s ongoing commitment to our team and the wider veterinary community. Mental health support is not a one-off initiative, it’s an integral part of building a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace.

By encouraging open conversations, providing practical tools, and prioritising wellbeing, we aim to ensure that everyone at EuthaSafe feels supported, empowered, and connected. After all, caring for the people behind our mission is just as important as the mission itself!
